My foray into art began at the Richmond Adult Community College where I studied art and design whilst living in London. Soon after, I ventured into Life Drawing and abstract painting by attending several courses in Germany - my home country. 

 

I later moved to the US where I took up Fabric Design and came away with a beautiful portfolio suited for a variety of uses from bedlinen to plates and wallpapers.

My artistic journey followed me to Malaysia where I explored abstract renditions of flowers in the most vivid colours. The abundance of tropical flora in the land provided much inspiration for this and is currently displayed predominantly throughout the site. I love translating the beauty I see around me on canvas. By sharing my art online, I hope to inspire and encourage others on their creative journey too.

Next stop was Germany. However, this turned out to be a short stay as I moved to Manila, Philippines.

 

Here I started a new phase of my artistic journey. To hone my painting style, I attended painting classes and found a community of fellow like-minded artists. The free-style classes are taught by well-known Philippine artist Fidel Sarmiento.

I look forward to new learnings especially in the areas of techniques and materials.
